Dear En. Jamal,

Have the committee thought about installing CCTV in the lift and lift lobby area?

Dato',

Thanks for the suggestion. We did hv plan for this but first need to look at the accounting and as it is now the JMB has not yet officially taken over the management of funds from Idaman Sutera Management Services Sdn Bhd.
Anyhow with cooperation from residence in ensuring prompt payment of all fees, we are confident this can be done within the coming months.

Looking after the common facilities of the condo lies on every residents and owners’ shoulder. If we ourselves having the “tidak apa” attitude and did not put a stop to any vandalism acts that happened in front of our own eyes, than nobody can help us. At the end of the day, we are the one will bare the cost for repairs.

I still remember how I warned three private collage students to stop poking the lift buttons by using pen. Right in front of their faces, I told them off that they are well-educated people and they should use their fingers to push the lift buttons.

There is also educated working lady in Block A constantly use a key instead of finger to "press" the button.
Even her elderly mother also do the same !
I guess it might be some weird family teaching that make the family behave so...

It's ok that if the family are virus or bacteria prone and they avoid physical contact with public facilities, but at least use some soft material like tissue paper to do so lah.
The act of caring of personal hygiene at the expense of public interest is simple selfish !
